Job Description

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: 

A) Technical Leadership

• Design, and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient front-end architectures.

• Evaluate and choose technologies that align with project and business needs.

• Enforce coding standards, code/merge request review, and utilize/maintain the automated code quality scanning tools/static analyzers.

• Proactively take ownership of complex technical initiatives, contribute to strategic technical decisions, and create proof of concept models for modern technologies.

• Conduct regular training for the team on secure, high-quality coding techniques.           

B) Design and Architecture

• Provide technical guidance to Solution Designers, Technical Business Analysts, and Technical Product Owners on work assigned to Engineering. 

• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.  

C) Development and Implementation

• Design, implement, and develop web interfaces using modern frameworks and libraries (Angular, React) for our award-winning customer portal.

• Ensure industry standards page loading speed, smooth rendering, and responsive interactions.

• Guarantee the application works across browsers, devices, and operating systems.

• Follow best practices from OWSAP and Optus recognized secure coding guidelines

D) Project Management

• Lead and manage development projects, ensuring timely delivery.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, UX designers, Solution designers, Backend engineers, Product managers, and QA engineers.  

E) Mentorship and Leadership 

• Guide Junior developers, provide technical training, and share knowledge with the team.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

F) Quality Assurance 

• Guide Junior developers, provide technical training, and share knowledge with the team.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

G) Continuous Improvement

• Prototype new ideas and experiment with cutting-edge tools or frameworks.

• Keep up with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, including updates to accessibility and security standards.

• Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, for Enterprise Applications that are Owned & Managed by Engineering.

H) Problem Solving 

• Drive complex problems into smaller, manageable components.

• Use metrics and user data to guide decisions.

• React to production incidents within SLAs.

• Keep up with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, including updates to accessibility and security standards."

Technical Skills:

JavaScript,Expert in Angular/React, HTML 5.0, CSS3, ES6+, Typescript.BDD & TDD, specifically Karma, or JEST & Cypress. Rest, JSON (Please refer JD for other skills)

Education & Experience:10+ yrs

Compensation:(depending upon the interview)

Location: Work from Office Hinjewadi, Pune.
